Jordan Storey, CPA
Deputy Auditor General
Office of the Auditor General of New BrunswickJordan was appointed as Deputy Auditor General in August 2026. In his role, he oversees the financial audit, performance audit, communications and administrative teams. Prior to his appointment, Jordan served as Executive Director of Performance Audit, where he provided strategic leadership and direction while overseeing performance audit projects.
Jordan has held various positions within the Department of Finance and Treasury Board, including Director of Internal Audit within the Office of the Comptroller.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and was the recipient of the Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick Silver Medal – Business. Jordan became a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in 2020.
Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family in Fredericton.

Sarah Black, CPA, CA
Executive Director of Performance Audit
Office of the Auditor General of New BrunswickSarah is Executive Director of Performance Audit at AGNB where she leads a team of skilled professionals in objective, value added reporting on Government of New Brunswick programs and services.
Sarah has held management and accounting positions with the largest public sector investment manager in Atlantic Canada. She has worked on financial statement audits with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada; during that time, she obtained her Chartered Accountant designation.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University and is a member in good standing with the Chartered Professional Accountants of New Brunswick.
When out of the office, Sarah enjoys time spent with family and friends as well as being outdoors and working in her garden.
Julie Weeks, CPA, CA, CISA
Executive Director of Financial and IT Audit
Office of the Auditor General of New BrunswickJulie is responsible for leading all financial and information technology audits performed by the Office. These include the annual Public Accounts audit as well as audits of the Province’s IT systems and Crown agencies.
Julie started her career with the Office in 2012, beginning as an accounting student who was pursuing a CA designation. After earning her CA designation, she continued to progress in the office and receiving roles with increasing levels of responsibility to her current role. She earned her CISA designation in 2020 and has developed a keen interest in how auditors can use IT to make audit processes more efficient and effective.
Julie is an active member of the audit community and participates on committees with auditors from other Offices of the Auditors General across Canada, all the while keeping up-to-date on emerging financial and IT audit issues in the public sector.
Julie is dedicated to personal and professional growth for herself and her staff. She can often be found attending various courses or webinars on many subjects. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son.
