The Auditor General assists the Legislative Assembly in holding the government accountable by reporting on government's performance and stewardship of public funds and resources. The findings of financial and performance audits are issued in the Auditor General's annual report to the Legislative Assembly and through appearances before the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.The Office of the Auditor General is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented professional to join our performance auditing team. Reporting to the Executive Director of Performance Audit, the individual will be responsible to:• assess the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of government programs• provide expert advice on complex issues affecting government• report on government’s compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices• ensure the effective management of human and financial resources• leverage data analytics to explain and corroborate audit findingsWe are seeking individuals with a critical thinking mindset, and passion for excellence.
